For me it’s wrapping up warm, autumnal walks, leaves in a brilliant array of warm golds and browns, appreciating the sights, sounds and smells of autumn.
When all you feel like doing is curling up on the sofa, grab those walking boots and get the blood pumping round your body.
Walking increases serotonin levels, helps warn off depression and improves your mental and physical health. Blow the cobwebs away and escape those negative thought patterns. Walking gives you time to think when you need inspiration. It’s good for your glutes, decreases stress levels and increases your Vitamin D intake. Walking can also combat anxiety and improve your mood.
Embrace the season. Wrap up warm. Meet a friend. Grab a coffee. Walk through a park. Breathe, look around. Appreciate the changing seasons. And the benefits to your health.
